Brief History: The Dollars were originally created by Mikado Ryuugamine as a joke but it later escalated into something incredibly large. Anyone could become apart of the gang as long as they were invited first, although when Mikado ceased sending out invitations Orihara Izaya took over and continued to expand the group's numbers. The gang's name originated in the Japanese phrase 'dalla dalla' which means to do nothing, or useless, since there was no original purpose for the gang when it was created.
